That’s a good feeling, isn’t it?  Unfortunately, when you are needed at work but NOT there, it creates bad feelings…and unsafe working conditions.


We get the opportunity to provide excellent customer service when the client does not have enough manpower to safely manage the workload. You get assigned to balance the workload because now there are more people to handle tasks. As a result of your skills and service, workers usually are less stressed and more rested and alert.  There are also more people to check adherence to safety regulations and policies, and workers can seek assistance for physically challenging work. A good level of manpower thus helps prevent problems such as burnout and injury.


NOT being at work means you missed the opportunity to:

  •          Be a spotter
  •          Hold a ladder
  •          Help someone working from a ladder by handing them tools & material
  •          Help lift a heavy load
  •          Help recognize a job site hazard
  •          Be a mentor to someone less experienced

We appreciate all of you for working SAFE and being a leader out in the field. Remember, at PLS we not only want you to be thinking about Safety while you are at work but also want you to BRING IT HOME!!
